Q.pear tree
I bought a conference pear tree 18 months ago this year there was a little blossom ,then you could just see the beginning of pears starting to form, but looked yesterday and now theres nothing there at all,it was only about 4foot tall when I got it is it too young to have fruit or could it be something else
This will be normal for young trees. You may see a few fruit here and there, but they may not swell to maturity until the tree is a little older. You can help this along a little by fertilzing the tree with fruit tree plant food once per year in spring. You can also add a little potassium and phosphorus to give it a boost until it is able to set proper fruit.
