How do I know if my pear trees are ornamental?

Most ornamental pear trees are grown for their flowering and generally produce very little, if any, fruit, and the fruit it does produce is usually quite small. If your tree is producing abundant fruit of adequate size, then chances are it’s not an ornamental.
