peach tree problems

Young peaches are falling off and the ones left on the tree have clear sap drops coming out of them. I can see where something has eaten some of the leaves on one limbs. I have sprayed with a fruit spray fungicide and also Sevin. What could be the problem and what else could I spray?

doesn’t sound like fungus, and in my experience, sevin won’t have an effect on any insects eating your peaches or the leaves. have you tried an insecticide, or soapy water maybe? I have used ferti-lome worm treatment on my fruit trees (altho I don’t like to use chemicals) but it did work.

It sounds like you could have a peach borer problem. This article will help determine if this is indeed the problem and how to fix it: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/peach/peach-tree-borer.htm [1]
