Peach Tree Fungi

The peach tree is located in the Coachella Valley desert. The climate is dry and warm (80 degrees F. in November). The tree has no fruit now, but the branches now have white ‘blisters’ seeping from the branches. Is there a chemical that I can use to stop the spread of the white blisters?
