Q.Peach Tree

Anonymous added on January 17, 2014 | Answered

How tall does a standard Contender peach tree grow? Will they grow in clay soil? It says in the catalog that this one will grow in zone 4. Is that true?

They grow to about 15 feet tall. It is considered to be one of the more cold hardy peach trees and does do fine in zone 4. They are also suppose to be very tolerant of a wide variety of soil, so should be fine in clay soil.
