Q.peach tree

Anonymous added on June 8, 2015 | Answered

This spring, temperatures got down to 27 degrees. Tree was budding out and it looks like it froze. Tree looks dormant or dead. Is this possible or will it come back to life?

As long as it is green below the bark, it will leaf out. I would give it a little additional time. This article will help determine if the tree is still dormant or dead: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/how-to-tell-if-a-plant-is-dead-and-how-to-recover-an-almost-dead-plant.htm
