Peach Tree

My peach tree has branches that are very brittle and are white. They brake off very easily. We just purchased the house in the Winter and realized the tree was a peach tree when it started to grow the peaches this June. How can I help it become healthy again? The peaches seemed to grow pretty well. Only about 2% have grown big enough to fill a palm (I’m a young woman) the rest are about the size of a lime or lemon. We also have about 50% which have fallen from the tree. They are a deep red right now.

This could be a disease or could potentially be damage from herbicides or another toxin.
