Q.peach tree

Zone Houston TX zone 9 | rightnau added on April 22, 2015 | Answered

I planted a peach tree early this spring in the wrong area. The rains came and the leaves all wilted. I removed tree and put in large pot with rose soil, added root stimulator. It’s been a couple of days and the leaves are still wilted, any thoughts how this tree can be saved?

Your tree has undergone two transplants in a short period of time. Transplants are stressful on trees and it will take more than a few days for it to recover and adjust to its new home. My best advice is to give it some time and ensure that you are giving your tree the growing conditions and care that it requires which are outlined in the following article:
