Peace Lily plant

Question

My Peace Lily has huge flowers on it but they are dark green. None of them are white flowers like it did when I purchased it. I know that the flower itself is the little spuds sticking off the stock inside the half shell, but shouldn’t the outside half shell be white also? Mine have all turned dark green, but the plant is huge and healthy looking.

It is normal for each peace lily flower to turn from white to green as it ages. If new flowers are growing and they are already green, that is a little strange and I'm not sure what would cause it. It's probably nothing to worry about though.
