Q.Patches of my dwarf mondo grass are dying. What may be the cause?
The dead patches have increased in number and size over the past week. They are worst on the west side of the house.
I am in Atlanta GA USA.
Thank you very much for your help.

If you're sure the damage isn't being caused by slugs or snails, your mondo grass may have a fungus that is causing root rot. Perhaps there are spots where the drainage isn't the best. Pythium splendens is a disease that causes root rot and is common in mondo grass. It's possible to treat the area by adding compost, but it may need a fungicide labeled for a drench application to mondo grass.
