Zone Lakeside, Oregon - zone 8? (on the coast) | Anonymous added on July 8, 2017 | Answered

My Passion flower is growing up through my Rhododendron plant, it seems to be taking
over – the rhododendron is healthy and about 7 foot tall – will the passion flower

Yes, it could become an issue for your vine to be growing in the Rhododendron.

It can smother the plant and it likely the Rhododendron will decline.

Moving the vine would be advised.
