Over-watering would cause the wilt you are describing. How often were you watering it? Does the soil feel damp or soggy?
How hot a room is it in? Passion plants prefer a 65 – 80 F range. Is it in direct sunlight? Passion plants prefer bright but indirect sunlight. Low humidity could also cause the plant to wilt – you may want to consider misting or utilizing a humidifier.
