Q.Passion Flower problem

Anonymous added on August 2, 2015 | Answered

For just over 3 months, I have grown a passion flower plant with no problems. But recently the leaves have drooped and it looks really sad – as if it has suffered in this hot weather. I don’t know if I have over-watered it to make up for it being in too hot a room…?

Over-watering would cause the wilt you are describing. How often were you watering it? Does the soil feel damp or soggy?

How hot a room is it in? Passion plants prefer a 65 - 80 F range. Is it in direct sunlight? Passion plants prefer bright but indirect sunlight. Low humidity could also cause the plant to wilt - you may want to consider misting or utilizing a humidifier.
