Parsley Worms

Every summer I try to grow parsley from plants I buy at a local market, and every year just when it is growing well and producing, worms appear and strip the stalks bare. What can I do to prevent this?

About the only solution is to hand-pick them. However, most caterpillars and worms can be typically killed either by using Bt or neem oil. Here is more information:
