parsley worm

Is parsley worm something that should be gotten rid of? What are the risks to a vegetable garden? I found 6 or 7 of these worms on a young curly parsley plant, almost 50% of the stems had a worm. They weren’t there 2 days ago. That was a fast infestation.

These Parsley Caterpillars turn into the beautiful Swallowtail Butterfly.
