Q.parsley seedlings

Zone SE melbourne | Anonymous added on September 24, 2016 | Answered

New parsley seedlings have shriveled and broken off at soil level. Wondering if soil is too rich, I’ve tried three new plants at different times in the same pot with the same result.

Parsley can be troublesome to start from seed. It take quite a while to germinate and is fussy.
Use a light soilless mix for seed starting. Mist the seeds and soil, this doesn't disturb the seeds as much.
