Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comIt’s middle of November my pampas is just about coming into bloom with only 1 plume this is only the 2nd time it’s flowered. 1st time was around 2010 when we had a really bad winter that brought Britain to a stand still
Then the flower never really came into full. Hoe came I protect it this year please?

It is not likely to bloom its first year.
With proper care you should see increasing blooms next season.
The flowers are triggered in the fall as the light levels drop, not temperatures.
