Q.PALO VERDE TREE ROOT SYSTEM

I am inquiring about which direction the tree roots grow; vertical, horizontal or both? Also, how far from a house should these trees ne planted? Thank you in advance.

Most trees grow vertical roots for stability and horizontal roots and feeder roots to gather and transport nutrients and water. Palo Verde trees grow deep roots to aid in drought tolerance. As a general guide, plant trees at least 15 feet from a house or structure. Make sure you allow plenty of space for the canopy so it does not cover the roof. Here is more:
