Palm With White Ball In The Middle

I hope my photo will attach. I found a large white/cream colored ball growing in the middle of my palm. I have also seen them in other yards and assume they are normal. However, I don’t know what it is or why. I also don’t know if I should be removing it.

Any information is appreciated

That is a female Sago flower! If there happens to be a male near, then you have the potential to get seeds. Just leave it as it is to complete its cycle.

This article will give you more information on Sago care: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/sago-palm/sago-palm-outdoor-care.htm [1]
