It’s December and I came back to my plants having brown leaves and looking to be dead. What do I do to winterize them and save them?

Winterizing refers to how to protect plants from winter cold before it happens. If your palms have already been hit by cold so that the leaves are brown, winterizing won’t change that. The only thing you can do is try to protect the growing tip inside the leaf cluster; if it is not killed, the palm will put out new leaves in the spring.
