Q.Palm Tree Roots Coming Out The Ground

Zone London | Anonymous added on January 18, 2022 | Answered

I have moved into a property in England with a large palm tree. The roots appear to be coming out of the ground. Should I build the ground up around it? Is this a sign of bad health? I am worried as we have another palm tree with a hollow base where the roots once were which will be have to be cut down soon!

Those roots are typical abnormalities for palms. However, I will include some information about yellowing leaves. It could be a nutritional problem. A soil sample would identify it.
