Q.Palm Tree Management – London UK
Just moved to a house with a palm tree. It is healthy, standing up to first floor windows level (ie: nearly roof height). There is healthy new growth from the side of the trunk at ground level reaching about six feet. Can this be safely cut off? How is it likely to grow from here if left – will it eventually become a double-trunk palm tree? What feed do you recommend? Do you have a partner company in London?

You don't include a photo or say what kind of palm it is, so I can only give you general information. If you know the type of palm tree, you can look it up on our website, https://www.gardeningknowhow.com. We don't have an office in London. In fact, we all work remotely.
Generally, green fronds are not removed, only brown ones. So, you need to know what kind of palm you have before cutting off that stray frond.
