Make sure your palm is not near a heating vent. They don't tolerate that dry heat. Also, let the soil dry between waterings. Too much water can lead to brown leaves as well as not enough water. They like humidity, so if your home is very dry, try a humidifier or a pebble tray (see below). Check your plant for insects. Palms are sensitive to insecticides, so if you use one, make sure palms are listed on the label.
