Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI was given a large paddle plant in a non-drainage pot. Can I just water surface so it won’t drip to bottom roots and rot the plant?

I would suggest repotting it into a pot with a good drainage hole.
Use a soil formulated for cactus or succulent.
