Owner of a Cat

We moved into our present home in April and our cat is using a trough and area of the garden that used to have a water feature as a toilet. Please could you give me some advice as to what I can plant in the area or something to neutralize the area? Because he is my cat, I prefer him using our garden than going to one of the neighbors’ gardens. Please can you help?

Other than diluting it with extra water, you may want to try planting some strong-smelling plants in that area, like mint, to mask the odor.
