Q.Overwintering Perennials

Zone The Colony, TX, Zone 8 | Anonymous added on December 8, 2021 | Answered

I waited too long to plant some perennials I purchased early late summer. Can I bring them inside and overwinter them in my home with the use of grow lights? They’re still in the same pot from the grower.

Yes, you can bring them inside. Since they are perennials, you can store them in the garage or where they will be protected from freezing temperatures. Water just about once a month to keep them alive till spring. You really don't need a grow light since they go dormant in winter.
