Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI over-wintered a hibiscus and it did well throughout the winter and has grown and produced lots of leaves since I put it back outside about a month ago. However, it has only produced two flowers this year, and it doesn’t look like it intends to produce any more. I did feed it with a Miracle Gro product about 10 days ago, but no sign of buds as yet. Should I just be patient?

It may need some phosphorus. It cannot bloom without this. Give it either a “bloom booster” fertilizer or bone meal.
