Q.Over Pruned Gardenia

Anonymous added on April 23, 2011 | Answered

My gardenia really suffered over the winter. In late winter, my yard person cut it back to the point there are no leaves or growth. Will it come back?

This article should help with pruning gardenia: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/gardenia/when-to-prune-a-gardenia.htm

It should begin coming back sometime in spring or early summer, but may take a while longer for it to bloom again.
