Q.Outside garden Fuchsias

Zone Woodside, Ca zone 8-9 | Anonymous added on April 18, 2016 | Answered

I have several stunning fuchsia plants that came with the house in the backyard, and they give me the most wonderful flowers. However, there are a couple things that worry me – this year, a drought year in our area, I have a lot of new growth that is coming up shriveled, plus lots of new leaves that are yellow and fall easily.

The symptoms your fuchsia is exhibiting are in line with a plant suffering from drought. Have you watered your fuchsias? I would keep them well watered and mulch to keep soil cool and moist.
