We live in northern Westchester County NY right along the Hudson River. Looking for the appropiate shrubs and perennials to add color to our outdoor decor.

I would recommend Rhododendron , and azalea for wonderful Spring Colour and a variety of Hydrangea for mid summer to fall color. These shrubs all come in a wonderful variety of colour and will give you beautiful landscape.
The only downside of these plants is they are a favourite food for deer. If you have a deer problem . These aren't a good choice.
