Q.Outdoor Hibiscus,still Dormant? White Stuff On The Branches?
My outdoor Hibiscus is still dormant? It still has green on one stem so seems to still be alive It now has some white stuff on the branches I don’t know what that is? Please see my photo. Can you please advise me if I need to do anything to help it or can’t be saved? Regards T

If it is still dormant this close to Autumn, it is a safe bet to assume that it will need to be replaced.
You can attempt to cut it down to regrow in Spring, but this will not be very likely to happen.
They are sensitive to overwatering, and will contract diseases very easily from doing so. If you are unable to control how much water it receives then you may need to use biofungicides in the soil to prevent infections.
