Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’m a novice gardener and have planted zucchini and pumpkins in the same area. I now see that I should have thinned the zucchini earlier, because they are taking over. At this point, can I thin them? Should I simply cut off some stalks or pull out a plant or two? Help!

You can cut them back, but it will likely hurt production if you do. You can try giving them something to grow up. The will grow as well up a trellis as they do on the ground.
