outdoor yuccas in pots

We have outdoor yuccas in large pots. They are all single stem and were approx. 1.25 metres tall from top of pot. We decided to cut them early October approx. 45cm above top of pot so as multiple heads would regenerate. It is now late November and nothing has happened. Please help.

I would give them a little more time. There is a possibility that disease got into the cut and killed it, but that is not likely. Just to be sure, give the stem a squeeze. If it is soft, it has died back. If it is soft all the way to the bottom, it may have died from disease. If they are still firm, just give them some more time.
