purple fountain grass growth

Question

Our purple fountain grass was planted in mid-December. When will we see new growth appear from the ground? We live in Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas area.

I would give it some more time. Warm season grasses begin to grow much later in the spring as air and soil temperatures increase.
