Huckleberry Plants

Q.Our Huckleberries produce rows or, I mean clusters, of tightly formed berries–are these huckleberry?

We bought our huckleberry bushes 10 or more years ago from a nursery who is established & well known here. They heavily produce many berries but in clusters. What is the name of ours…it does not have single berries. Yes, lots of berries smaller than our blueberries. Thank you, Sherry

There are several berry-producing shrubs referred to as huckleberries in the Vaccinium (Western) and Gaylussacia (Eastern) genus. Yours could be Gaylussacia spp. which fruits in clusters.
