Most orchids are photoperiodic, and will not flower unless they have a period of over 12 hours (say 14 to 16 hours) of pitch black. You will have to put it into a place for at least 12 hours that it will not receive a single nit of light. They will start flwoering within a few weeks of this. You will have to let them have a “long day” for a few months after flowering, so that it can recover.
