Q.indoor orchid plants

Zone 34224 | floridakisses1 added on June 19, 2016 | Answered

All of the flowers fell off of the plant. I understand they do this periodically. But….what do I do to get them to grow again, if anything? A friend told me they do drop the flowers, but in time will sprout new ones. However, the stems are shriveling and do not look like they will do anything. I also would like to know how long it takes for the plant to sprout new flowers. Thanks.

When the Orchid is done blooming you can cut the stem down to the base of the plant.
Your Orchid needs a dormant period before blooming again.
