orchid leaves wilt

MY 4 year old orchid looks great, but the leaves have become floppy and soft-ish. I suspect accidental over watering and or needs a larger pot. There is still one viable blossom and lots of roots climbing out of the pot. Can I repot now while the plant appears to be stressed? Is the floppiness from over watering? The planting material is wood chunks from the original grower. should I also replace the wood chunks? What do I do with all the upward growing roots? Thanks you for your help Jo Bowman

Make sure the excess moisture is draining from the plant.

If the roots sit in soggy orchid soil, it can cause the roots to rot.

You may need to lift the plant and allow to dry out; lay the orchid carefully on some newspaper for a few hours.
