Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI picked this orchid up at the dump right before autumn last year. It had no flowers and no tag to identify what type it was. Even without these guides, I was able to keep it alive all winter. I lost a single leaf and one of the leaves is starting to split. By the look of the plant, it’s time for a re-potting. Instructions to do so seem pretty specific, so I want to make sure I don’t kill it. I’ve attached a picture, so if someone can identify it and possibly give me some re-potting and growing tips, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m not really a novice gardener, but I’ve never messed with orchids before.

Unfortunately I can’t make an identification by just the leaves.
Many orchids have the same leave shape and pattern.
Here are some articles that will help you care for your wonderful find!

Thank you for your help, I figured it would be hard to identify without flowers. I’ll read over the articles you provided and see if I can find the proper potting material while I’m out tomorrow, wish me luck!
