Orange jelly fungus growing on 1 branch of a lemon tree, and on 2 branches of Weeping cherry blossom tree.

Will this fungus, now quite small in size, cause permanent damage to the Eureka Lemon tree, presently some 4 mtrs tall, and recovering from a hard prune some 2 yrs ago.Crib Point

Is there any treatment which will eradicate the same.
