What is a good plant to place in front of the 3-4″ Orange Diervilla in Total Shade, Zone 7?

Hostas do well in shade and stay under three feet in height. Coral bells are also perennial and will stay under three feet. They come in all kinds of leaf colors, such as red or purple, that will contrast well with the diervilla. Another option is perennial ferns. If you can give the diervilla a little sun, it will flower better. Here is more:
