Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have three fuchsia hybrid plants. From what I can find out, the recommended way for over wintering them is to put them in a room with temp of 45 degrees and minimal light. I have no such room. I was wandering if they could be planted in a flower bed and cover them with straw, leaves and compost then cover that with bucket and cover that with straw and leaves. Good or bad idea. Thank you.

Usually a basement or garage is a good place.
