Q.One Of The Streets Of The Plumtree Is The Other One The Same Type Of Plumtree

Planted a plum tree about 15 years ago or maybe a bit more what is supposed to grow up to 6 foot is an excess of 12 foot then a second tree started growing Next to it about 6 foot away Is it the same Plumtree or a seed with a Plumtree or a completely different tree?

It sounds like the original root stock took back over, leaving a failed graft. This is common for wild root stock to take over and send up root suckers.
