anthracnose hit the watermelons

Once anthracnose hit the watermelons, can you save and still have great yield with the spots on the melons? I had last year in new field, used field and some seeds. Now showing signs – can I come back if I treat aggressively?

If anthracnose makes its way into the watermelon fruit, the fruit will most likely be deformed and will be susceptible to decay. Anthracnose diseased fruit would not be suitable for a commercial venture.
