Olive trees in pots

My olive tree bearing fruit is changing color and becoming rather yellow and appears top be dying. I’ve been told to remove all the fruit or feed and water it more. What do you suggest?

Many thanks.

The leaves of the Olive Tree live about 2 years.
The Olive fruit starts out green when immature and then turns yellow/green in fall and eventually turns black at full maturity.
It takes 6 to 8 months for Olives to reach this maturity.

You very well could be describing a healthy tree.
