oleander yellow leaves

With the mild winter in TX, my oleanders finally bloomed but now (late June) the leaves in the bottom part of these shrubs are turning yellow and falling off. How do I stop the yellowing and also promote the blooming again?

Yellowing leaves on your Oleander may indicate overwatering.
