I’m having a difficult time trying to get my Mache seeds to germinate. They are fresh seeds. Can you give me any suggestions to aid in the germination?

I've read several fact sheets on mache and see varying times for germination, anywhere from 2 weeks to one month. So patience is a virtue here. Besides our article, here are a couple extension publications that may help. You don't say whether you are starting them indoors or out, but in either case, you need cool temperatures as well as soil. Liberally broadcast the seeds and cover with about 1/4 inch of soil. Water well.
