Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comof rain we have had this year? I am pretty sure there is nothing I can do about it now. It was a real shock to look at it last week and see that most of it was brown, not the fall colors.

Oakleaf hydrangeas are drought tolerant and require well draining soil, so if your soil doesn’t drain well, the rainy weather could have done it in. Also, oakleaf hydrangeas can develop root rot if exposed to excessive moisture.
