When a succulent stretches, it is searching for more light. If your plant is indoors and on a windowsill, it’s possible it needs a grow light to prevent further stretching. There’s much less light in the fall, and the shorter days can have an affect on your light-loving plants.

It’s impossible for your succulent to “shrink” back to normal, however, you can still save it!

The easiest way to “fix” a stretched succulent is to behead it, planting the healthy top portion.
