Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have 3 NIP’s that started out as a x-mas tree about 12 years ago. I kept them small but planted them outside after I bought a house in Florida close to 5 yrs ago. They have grown to approx. 12-16 ft. I have noticed a lot of small offshoots on top of the existing branches. Will these fall off and start new trees, or is there something wrong? Should I remove them?

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through, so I cannot see, exactly, what is being referenced. G
enerally, this is a sign of maturity! They seem to do this as the tree ages. If you look at pictures of very mature NIP's you will see, exactly, what I am talking about.
